Skin Tone Guide
First determine whether you are light, medium or dark complexioned.
Next, observe the color of the skin on your inner wrist (or any place the sun has not altered your natural skin color). There are three tones to look for:
Warm tones will have olive, golden or golden brown to them. Our Accentuate colors from lightest to darkest in warm tones are:
Bare Earth, Light Amber, Sunlit Terra, Warm Honey, Golden Marble, Venessia, Summer Tan
Neutral tones will have beige tones or a combination of warm and cool tones. Our Accentuate colors from lightest to darkest in neutral tones are:
Bare Earth, Light Amber, Sunlit Terra, Tuscany, Maria, Espresso
Cool tones will have a rosy pinkish or bluish cast to them. Our Accentuate colors from lightest to darkest in cool tones are:
Cool Bisque, Sandstone, Tuscany, Maria, Espresso
*You'll notice that some of our shades can be used by more than one skin tone. This is because Loose Mineral Foundations acutally allow your skin tone to reflect through your makeup. Some of our shades have such subtle variations in color that they are perfect for more than one skin tone.
